The 22 subjects we offer at A level nurture the intellectual curiosity of our students and staff and provide a sound base for university applications in the UK or abroad.
Everyone is encouraged to see their education here as a whole – not as a series of unconnected tunnels leading towards exams.
Everyone chooses four or five subjects at AS level which are examined at the end of year 12, then takes three or four of them to A2 level examined at the end of year 13. There's also a non-examined general studies programme which includes a lecture by a different eminent speaker every week.
We know how wide our students' interests are, so the timetable's flexible enough to accommodate almost any combination of subjects you can think of. Whatever subjects you choose, there's ample scope to go beyond the syllabus in class discussions and your own research.
