We are delighted with the exceptional achievement of our A Level and GCSE students this year and congratulate them warmly.

The A* grade at A level was awarded to 48.4 per cent of papers taken with 93.2 per cent of papers graded at A and A*. At GCSE 81.3 per cent of papers were graded at A* and 98* graded A* and A. In school-directed courses in art and music, the results were: art 51 A* grades and 5 A grades; for music there were 11 A* grades and 3 A grades.

These results represent not only the hard work and commitment of the students but also the dedication and expertise of their teachers. It is pleasing to note that these girls also managed to enjoy so many aspects of school life as well, continuing to participate in sport, music, drama and charity projects throughout. Our best wishes go to our leavers who are currently preparing to start university courses, both in the UK and abroad, or gap year projects.
