We operate a high speed, site wide network with over 300 workstations. Besides the PCs in our dedicated IT centre where teaching takes place, we’ve also got clusters in several departments, the library and the careers suite. Year 12 and 13 students have their own cluster in the forum. But we don't stop at the school gates – we're also enabling access to digital teaching resources and communications so you can prepare for class wherever you are.
We use industry standard Microsoft Office and Adobe packages so that students get to know some of the software they’re most likely to encounter in the workplace, and we subscribe to many online information services and CD-ROMs. Every student has a personal account on our network and can access the internet in the IT centre, although precautions are in place to prevent access to anything harmful.
