A larger and more flexible performance space has come to the Singing Hall after a renovation programme began in April 2010. The refurbishment has enlarged the stage, made audiences more comfortable and has equipped the hall with the latest audio-visual technology. The new seats have been designed specially for us by Race Furniture Ltd, the creators of the new seats in the Royal Festival Hall and this aspect of the refurbishment gives us the opportunity to offer a seat-naming scheme to raise money for the St Paul’s bursary endowment fund.

Our daughter benefited from the previous generosity of many donors – since the founding of the school in 1904. We decided it was now our turn.

We will attach a plaque to a seat and for a donation of £2,500 (or £2,000 under the UK gift aid scheme), a pupil, parent, teacher, family or friend of St Paul’s may be named. This will help us to work further towards our aim to offer a St Paul’s education to gifted and talented girls who would not otherwise be able to take up a place.
