Funding for additional costs
Where a student benefits from 100 per cent support, St Paul's meets the costs of one extra subject such as music or an extra PE activity, school trips or visits of up to a total of £250 per academic year, travel to and from school (where it is not possible for a girl to take advantage of the free travel on public transport offered by Transport for London) and the cost of public examinations. A 100 per cent award holder will also receive a one-off grant of £500 to assist with initial costs. Every award holder receives an allowance for text books of £225 a year (£75 a term).
We can sometimes provide funds for additional support to cover the cost of visits where we recognise significant educational value to the individual girl. Parents should write to the High Mistress to request such funding.
