Examination results

We were once again thrilled with our public examination results. At A level 49.5% of our results were at A*, up on 47.9% last year, and 93.4% were at A*/A, which is again up on 92.4% last year.

We are particularly proud of the 18 girls who joined the school at 16+, 17 of whom achieved straight A*/As and one scored A*AAB. Once again we did not choose to enter this year's league tables as, along with many other major independent schools, we do not believe that they give a fair representation of the results achieved; this should not in any way belittle the girls' achievement, however. At GCSE likewise, our girls performed at a very high level with 81.4% and 98.02% being at A* and A*/A respectively. Especially worthy of mention is the first cohort of Mandarin GCSE who achieved 16 A* and 4 As; and the Chemistry cohort who scored 100% A*s.
