National Institute for Medical Research Essay Competition
Congratulations to Davina Chao (VII) who has won the National Institute for Medical Research essay 2012 competition. 108 A level students entered from 22 schools.
The award is £100, an invitation to spend a day at the National Institute for Medical Research to see some of their work and also to receive her award. Her essay will also be published in Mill Hill Essays and be available on their website. The judges commented that "the winner explained the scientific detail notably clearly including conflicting data but also had a nice turn of phrase that made her narrative particularly enjoyable to read and understand."
