Young Geographer of the yearWe are thrilled that Alexandra Power in V has been named a 2011 Young Geographer of the Year. The competition was organised by the Royal Geographical Society (RGS) and all MIV, V and VII entered. Alexandra won the category for 14-16 year olds. She created a poster in response to the question: "What should all good geographers understand?". She attended the prize-giving at the RGS on the 18 November with her parents and Rachel Harris. Michael Palin awarded her prize.
