You are here: Home Being here Induction

Induction It's your first day at school and you don't know anyone – but remember, neither does anyone else. So our year 7 induction day is as laid-back and fun as possible. You get to know your tutor group, your own tutor and the other girls in your year. In the afternoon, you meet your school sister in year 12, who'll help to take care of you while you’re settling in.

Being new at St Paul's is like finally reaching a place where I have always wanted to be and finding it's even better than I expected.

If you're joining us in year 12, you visit us for a day in the summer term of year 11 once you've finished your GCSEs. You meet our staff and we match you up with a partner who's already here – you'll both be in the same tutor group and you're probably studying some of the same subjects. Then when term starts in September, you get to know the rest of your year group for a team building exercise – maybe designing a fund-raising presentation for a charity. That afternoon, you'll meet the new year 7 students for a joint induction session and we end the day with a reception for you and your parents.
