Barbados Tour Day 2

After an early morning walk to a horse racing track, we had breakfast alongside the monkeys.  We then packed ourselves into a minibus and drove to Lodge School in the Bajan countryside.

We arrived ready to go, having acclimatised to the heat and humidity of Barbados.

Our first match was against Lodge School’s A team, we played far better  than yesterday adjusting to the Bajan way of play and taking on board what our coaches told us, to take the win 15-8.

After a quick break we played our second match against their younger B team and won 19-3. We then returned to our hotel and had a quick dip in the sea to relax our muscles before setting off to ‘The Boatyard’, a restaurant and seaside activities centre.

We had lunch, played volleyball against a cricket team and spent time jumping off of the pier, bouncing on the water trampolines and falling off the iceberg.  We returned to our hotel shattered and in need of good meal and rest!
